Solution? Make available the resources to allow Palestinian refugees to be compensated for their loss either by being given land in occupied palestine or by monetary payment.

Israel gets billions of $$$ a year in free aid. Just think if some of that was used to right the wrong rather than to simply prop up a state based on a colossal act of theft

Not really my idea. UN Resolution 194 in 1948 called for Israel to let the refugees return or be compensated. It was ignored, of course. Here's a bit of it: ". . . the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or in equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible;"
