Zeitgeist: ADDENDUM

Yeah, but it does mention that we'll all be micro-chipped and dissidents will have their chip switched off making them unemployable and no access to welfare etc.

As I said, lol.

'money as debt' is a neat little cartoon if your new to the money creation thing.

i went through a phase of advertising it on banknotes :D

I did it in A-Level Economics over twenty years ago and have struggled to explain it in my own words since, but the animation in this is good.

First time I saw Zeitgeist, I believed almost all of it. Then I wised up, and realised I'd been a bit manipulated. Finally, I realise, if I can be that easily manipulated by a bunch of student hippies, I could also be fairly easily be manipulated by the state.

What did you feel was manipulated?

I saw a bit of this on the Controversy Channel last night, looks fucking great. Anyone else seen it?

It is great, although i wasn't sure about the future plans bit, can't see people accepting a world without money. Having said that, cash is on its way out in countries like britain where they just want electronic transactions.

Was the addendum film the one with the economic hitman explaining the process involved when the USG wants change in another nation?

What was also good when these films were made was international zeitgeist day with meetings all over the world. It was great to meet positive people who both recognised the need for change, but simultaneously that humans don't do change very well. But the zeitgeist movement, hippies or not, is a force of positive energy that at least recognises the crimes by the states and looks for ways to redress this lack of balance in the human world.

I'd also like to know about which bits you felt manipulated by. I would add it's not that easy to be manipulated unknowingly by the state, not so long as you know in the first place they're likely to be trying that. Whereas a 'bunch of student hippies' would have far more intelligence than those idiots working for the state, and be more likely to manipulate minds cleverly.

Yes, there is an excellent short animated film done to his words that illustrate what they do excellently.

Yeah, that's the chap! And listening to his words again reminds me how well he seems to have the system summarised.

I doubt it's worth asking, but were the zeitgeist films ever shown on UK tv? Or US tv for american posters reading this.

The Money Masters is much... more real... Just follow the interests, no need for conspiracies...

[And yes, sometimes there are those around us, too... ;)]
