    I havent seen Star Wars yet but i sdon't think it'll make my top 3, if it does i'll change it.

    I also liked Baby Driver, Hell or High Water, Nocturnal Animals, Get Out, Moonlight - but those are me top 3

    I liked that Trainspotter 2 and the Bladerunner Sequel.

    Funny, I don't normally like sequels.

    Really? I fell asleep. Twice! I mean it wasn't bad i just fell asleep.

    I found Transpotting two dull aswell, not bad, just dull.

    I also liked: The new Planet of the Apes, Okja, IT, Super Dark Times and, while it didn't totally live up to my expectations, Blade Runner.

    Got tickets for the new Star Wars next week.

    From this year the three best are Toni Erdman, The Florida Project and Arrival. With Toni Erdman being the absolute best.

    But best cinematic experience was seeing Ran - I'd never see it before and was just blown away. Absolutely gorgeous, beautiful amazing colour, superb performances and deeply moving. Utter masterpiece.

    Mm, I'd forgotten Arrival and The Handmaiden were this year (Arrival being right at the start of the year and saw The Handmaiden at the LFF in 2016) so going to revise my list with Arrival replacing Mother! and The Handmaiden being joint with MBTS.

    2. The Last Jedi
    3. Dunkirk
