Your nominations please, for albums of the year 2008

I do like '90's Radiohead, but not many people on my street listen to music like theirs (these days especially). It just struck me as out-of-sync (to see the album thrown out onto the streetcorner).

Radiohead hasn't been getting as many favorable reviews since that one album they released in 2003. I just collect their '90s EPs and B-sides now.

I'm already the sheriff of london. I saved Boris Johnson from some very embarrassing political fallout and in return he gave me a badge that proves it.

Thinking about this and looking at what's been released has made me realise just how much good stuff has been released this year that I've listened to maybe a handful of times and never got back round to listening too - I'm RUBBISH!!

I'm disappointed they didn't put the Women album in there as although it's not officially released til jan 09 they bought stock in on pre-release.

Did Wooden Shjips have an album out this year? Or was that last year? I get confused as sometimes I get promos six months in advance.

Good old Rough Trade - what a bunch of sensitive lovely bunnies they must be to put Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Vampire Weekend as their top 3. Bless their little cotton socks.

Rock n roll - phew!
