Your Nominations For Film of The Year

My nomination for best film of 2008 goes to Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls, and if anyone thinks that was a shit film well fuck you, fuck you

My other four nominations were:

2. Baader Meinhof Komplex
3. The Mist
4. Body of Lies
5. Tropic Thunder

Which is the one about the dangerous breeze? And it turns out to be the trees what done it?
Oh well thank you very much. I'd managed to block out all recollection of the £15 odd quid visit to the cinema to see that crock of shite, and now it all comes rushing back. I don't get paid for another few days and I ran out of money about two weeks ago. Have you any idea what I could do with £15 right now? It's amazing how far £15 can actually stretch when you need it to, but instead, it got blown on a fucking shit film in less than 2 hours (which, I suppose, is a silver lining of sorts because if it went on for over 2 hours then I really would have been pissed off)

I am merely an impartial compiler, and therefore will have no inkling of the quality of the voting. Consequently, if some ignorant cuntsock decided to vote for SATC I wouldn't be aware of it.

I haven't been to the cinema nearly as much as I would have liked this year, going to half as many as I did in the previous year.

I nominated:

1 There Will Be Blood
2 The Dark Knight
3 Wall-E
4 No Country for Old Men
5 Iron Man

The best new film I saw this year was The Wrestler. The first part of Che would also make my top 5.

ETA - Didn't realise that we were meant to rank them.

i dunno if it can though.

2007 is 2007.
but a 26 December release date would have been too late for it to get voted for last year (if we'd had one), so if you don't allow it you are effectively negating the film's existence in terms of Urban. Although I've already voted, so I don't care, I saw Paranoid Park in April this year (in New York, where for some reason it wasn't released until March) so as far as I'm concerned that's a 2008 film.
