Current one is Dog borstal :o

This could be quite interesting, but I don't know why they have gone down the route of making it some sort of weird reality show and what's with making the owners stay in tents and stuff?

That lot, and 24

I've not got round to 24 yet, have the entire 1st series sitting there. I also have the entire series Six feet under that I downloaded on a whim. Been told that's great.

I've also been told having a life is good as well. Not sure I'd get time to have one if I watched more than I already do.

Arse Lost came out last night and I've not downloaded it.

Since my tellybox blew up and I have had to journey downstairs to watch TV I have limited myself to...

The Crystal Maze
Screenwipe
Never Mind the Fullstops
Dragon's Den
Never Mind the Buzzcocks
TV Burp

I've found I get much more work done without a TV on constantly in the background.

I really hate the noise that TV's make.

Its quite a nasty sound as its designed to be associated with the picture, no picture and it loses all meaning and becomes quite horrible noise.

Radio is designed to be listened to, so sounds really nice, even if you cant quite hear it, it draws you in.

Must see:

Desperate Housewives
ER

Enjoy (but won't schedule a week around):

Law and Order
American Idol
Holby City :o
Without a Trace
Ugly Betty
Oprah

Am anxiously awaiting the return of:

House
Grey's Anatomy
Love My Way

I used to like CSI, but now that it is on a constant stream, I can't stand it anymore.

Must see....

Friday Fight night - on S*y.

Premier League darts - this Thursday on S*y.

Champions league football - on S*y.

Some Premiership football - on S*y.

Cricket World Cup - on S*y.

I don't think I have any "must watch" TV.

I do like Life on Mars but I don't make plans to watch it. If I'm home and it's on I'll watch it.

Scrubs and South Park as and when new ones come out (and I watch repeats almost every day :o)

I have a thing for collecting older, finished series off the internet though - I've got all of the Tick and all of Earthworm Jim on my computer at the moment.

The only 'must watch' I've had in the last few years has been Six Feet Under - and it still is, I'll always watch the repeats. Pretty much goes for the Sopranos too.

The Wire is the only current programme that comes close.

The Shield is my fave. The Wire, Sopranos are the next two and I thought I'd lost interest in 24 by Season 4 but then 5 was really good again. Much as I love Battlestar Galactica I have to admit that during the current season I have started to loose interest a bit and hope ot will pick up again. I never miss Grand Designs and as mentioned on the trash TV thread, I recently got sucked into America's Next Top Model.

The only programme I make a point of watching at the moment is University Challenge. Though last summer I really got into that big cat watch thing, and I really like autumn watch, spring watch etc. Other than that the telly only goes on to watch DVDs.

Life on mars and lilies, lilies is on bbc1 on fridays and is the story of a large irish decended family (including three daughters) growing up in Liverpool in the 20's, and its bloomin marvelous! .

in fact, i shall start a thread about it tomorrow
