I signed up to do a 40 hour week (but no-one counts) and get 51 days a year! :) :D

Think that allows a 4 day week option...

25 days plus bank holidays and the option of a 'personal day' - ie, if i'm moving that can be taken in 3 hour slots in case you need to wait in for deliveries etc.

35 days plus bank holidays :D Not that I'm smug or anything.
I'm only admin aswell.
where's a dropped jaw smilie when you need one?

any spare jobs going?

25 days + bank holidays. Up to 24 days flexi per year as well but they don't really count 'cos to earn them I have to put the hours in elsewhere. Currently working my arse off so I can get the 14 hours per month in I need to get those two precious extra days off :)

22 days plus bank holidays.

I'm a bit miffed actually as it used to be 20 days basic plus an extra day for each year of service, to a maximum of 25. They changed it to 22 days when I had been there for two years - so it didn't affect me then, now I've been there five years I realise I could have had three extra days. Thing is, the people on 25 days haven't lost any, so now there are some people on 25 and some on 22, which I don't think is fair.

I get 25 days a year + university closed days (2 at easter, 2 in summer term, 1 in winter term, 10 days at Christmas).

Academic & academic related staff get an additional 5 days a year, although you'd think they get more judging by how often some of them are in the building.

25 days + bank holidays
plus I get flexi-time so andythign I work over 35hours a week I can either get paid, or take as extra holiday up to a maximum of 18days a year, so if I work super hard could have possibly 25 + 18 = 43 days a year :D

this year i had 40 days including bank holidays. Got 26 to take up before end of September

my contract says 30 days a year plus bank hols and an extra day at christmas.

i know. jammy ain't it. :)

Sorry, I did the poll wrong. I said I got 25 + bank holidays. I read that as 25 +, + bank holidays for some reason!

I get 30 + bank holidays. And last year I got the 3 days between Xmas and New Year off as well :)

Lots of urbanites with lots of annual leave - do the majority of us perhaps work in the public sector?

29 + bank hols atm, from april I'll get an extra 2 days - the prize for working for our wonderful NHS for 5 years

We get an excellent leave entitlement of 25 day + BH's, but the problem is finding the time to take off. Fitting your leave around your work schedules. I could well be losing about 5 days leave because I just do not have the time available to take off. I attempted to get the organisation to buy back 5 leave days, but was told "use 'em or lose 'em.." is this legal..??

I have 36 days which include bank hols (not sure how many bank hols there are) . I work on a hospital ward so I generally work bank hols or if I am off its just a day off. We have our bank hols grouped together which I think gives me a extra week. I prefer it this way, if I want the bank hol off I book it off . Generally its very difficult to book time off at xmas, I have worked the past 4 out 5 xmas days but always had New Year off. I have in the past taken 3 months unpaid leave from work and taken 4 weeks holiday together.

not including BHs i have 12 days a year but i have to take two of them at crimbo

full time, night shift.... :(

its shit

30 days plus bank holidays. Standard is 25 days, you get another 5 when you've been here 5 years.

I also get a generous sick entitlement of 6 months on full pay and 6 on half pay.

Much as I get bored with my job sometimes I really can't see me getting as good conditions etc anywhere else.

I get 20 days, plus bank hols.

Our office always closes down over Xmas - we have to use 3 of our 20 days to cover the Xmas break, irrespective of whether we actually want to.

And we can't carry any unused days over to the next year.

And I never get any extra holiday in lieu of the hundreds of hours of unpaid overtime I do each year.

Small internet companies suck........:(

Just gone up to 25 days +BH for everyone, having previously been starting at 22 days + BH, and adding a day on for each year of service with the company. Pleased about the extra allowance, I must say. :)
