I love Soul Mining / Infected / Mind Bomb / Dogs Of Lust - a superb ten-year run, with each album having its own personality and style, but all anchored by Johnson's constant themes and musical calling cards. Evocative of a certain kind of 80s music, that you could imagine playing behind a chapter in a book by a teenaged Bret Easton Ellis about horrific people, or else scoring a montage sequence in a Molly Ringwald film.
I also really like his more recent soundtrack work (Tony and Hyena particularly) and the Radio Cinéola stuff. I just like his groove.
