Your favourite sweets

All the sweets. Tangfastics and dolly mixtures and liquorice allsorts first. Then fruit pastilles and opal fruits and jelly babies. And wine gums and sweet teeth and refreshers and drumsticks. Go on then I'll have some lovehearts and cola bottles and maoams and starmix and those shrimps. And a fuckton of after eights while you're about it.

You’d love these then:

My Mum’s best friend was the Gibb company owner’s daughter.

We visited the factory once and got givens huge bags of all the broken ones. Not had em for years.

What are those sweets that are fruity and square shaped with a shiny, crisp outside and soft and chewy inside? Red, orange, yellow, green and purple?

Tell you what I don't like: smarties.
Smarties can fuck off.
Not keen on mini eggs either. I don't like the sugary coating around chocolate. Nasty chocolate as well in the case of smarties.

1) Turkish Delight (Cadbury Dairy Milk). Now sadly discontinued, unless you order from Ireland.
2) Cadbury Snack
3) ASDA Rainbow White Choc. (Reminiscent of the white Smarties bar which was discontinued in 2005. I was over the moon to see its brother on the Asda shelf!)
4) White Nestle Crunch.

But yeah....any fruity sweets. I can eat tons of them. The sharper and more citrus the better and I love anything sour. I have to be really careful not to buy sweets as I will smash them all in one sitting.
I found some really sour jellies in Aldi a few weeks ago. Proper ones that turn your cheeks inside out. Unfortunately they were a special and are no longer on sale. :(

Doggy chocolates are quite nice as it happens, along with dog biscuits. :hmm:

I remember getting doggy chocolates from the pet shop - scooping them from large containers, and nicking some of them before the dogs set their greedy eyes on them.
