Without once mentioning drugs, just the best representation of clubbing ever.

Brian: "MUST .... DANCE ... !"

Oh and Mike at the end.

"Hardcore UK raver ..." :D

Does it really not mention drugs? Absolutely astonishing... such a good depiction that I assumed it did... :)

Only references are Tyres having a 'stomach like a walnut' and this...

t was a sandwich of fun on ecstasy bread, wrapped up in a bag like disco fudge

Without once mentioning drugs, just the best representation of clubbing ever.

And a reference to 'party prescriptions', and the luvdup sofa bit and their general 'blatantly obvious they've done drugs' behaviour...

But it still disappears over the heads of people that don't, you know, know.

Tim: When you said the interview went well, did you mean shite?
Daisey: I..I said "girl power"
Tim: (deep sigh) Did you do this? (does 'peace' sign)
Daisey: (nods in shame)
Tim: (bites fist)

Talking about cringeworthy, anyone see 'Supernova'?

I couldn't watch the end where it was obvious Rob Brydons character was about to destroy the £200K telescope lense. I actually had to turn over.

Just watched episode one again. There's this gem:

Daisy: Do you rent downstairs?

Brian: Do you mean am I gay?

Daisy: What?

Brian: Do you mean am I gay?

Daisy: No, no I meant are you renting the downstairs flat?

:)

'Mike and I have been up all night after taking some cheap speed we got from two glaswegian blokes down the pub'

'Tim, aren't you a bit old for that?'

'Probably but they were so nice, and if we refused they'd have probably beaten us up'

Plus I've noticed there is an undercurrent of them regularly getting stoned (etc.) but with no discussion of it at all most of the time. :)

I know I'm a bit late on this one (better late than never) but I'm just re-discovering Spaced after downloading it (you can get it on isohunt, as someone enquired on the previous page).

For some reason when I watched it when it was originally on I didn't fully appreciate it - every time I watched it I was fucked and just thought it was fun in a 'druggie programme' kind of way, but in fact it deserves more than just being seen in thet way

This bit's all the better for the next line.

Tim: Are you gay? :D

So glad this thread has come back, note my new tagline!
I thought the end of the second series went downhill when Marsha fell out with them and the house was for sale.

The young couple looking around the flat, younger than Tim and Daisy but a lot more "grown up" reminded me how many things are temporary. Quite sad really. :(
