Your favourite dessert

The Gobi.

eyethangyew ;)

On page two and no-one's done it yet

As for puddings, you can't beat a tasty lump of bread and butter pudding on a winter night.

I do like the lighter, summery puddings, but for that feel good factor you just can't beat a bit of stodge and custard.

victoria sandwich - with loads of butter icing for the filling - like what my mum showed me to make

Yum I love victoria sandwich, has to be home made though

I'd go for a Creme Bruleé (or Crema Catalana I think they call it in Barcelona - yummy) or a Tiramisu. Or a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream!

My grandpa's fruit salad.

I dunno what he puts in it to make it taste like it does but mmmmmhhh.

It's cocaine. and heroin. And other nasty stuff. Don't eat it!!! :(

I've got a craving for rhubarb crumble right now :o

Blackcurrant crumble with single cream...
or
Jamaican ginger cake with hot custard - real winter stodge podge food
or

Bugger! Beat me to it ;)

Favourite pud has to be blackberry and apple crumble with REAL custard made with real egg yolks, real vanilla and real cream. None of this crappy powder stuff for me. :D

All time home-made faves are crumble or bread and butter pudding.

Had a spotted dick on a birthday meal out at a posh restaurant and was probably the closest thing to a perfect comfort food I have ever eaten.

Don't often do puds but when we do...

Mum's brandysnaps
Edith's peaches (butterscotch sauce and whipped cream)
NY style baked cheesecake
Mum's lemon tart (lemon, mascarpone, etc. on digestive base)
Creme brulee
Gu stuff
Blueberries & strawbs with greek yog and muscavado sugar

and Shmu's special of creme fraiche with granulated sugar is pretty damn fine.
