Sweet ones, the little scotch ones are best, hot, with lots of butter.......*drool*

Here-The Lock Inn, Bradford Upon Avon-miss it:( Veggie boatmans brekkie is huge quantities of either chips or fried pots, scrambled eggs or fried, baked beans, homemade veggie sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and either toast or fried bread for five or six quid-washed down with a pint of cider by canal whilst reading the papers and feeding the friendly pub cat:cool:

sausage, bacon, black pudding, fried egg and hp sauce in between two slices of toast.

edit: could possibly be made better by maple sauce
edit 2: and a can of sprite

Either: Scotch pancakes, maple syrup, really smokey bacon with very strong black coffee (my Mum makes me this when I go home :)

Or: Smoked salmon and perfect free range organic scrambled eggs with granary toast and a glass of bucks fizz

Or: Champagne and a line :D

(But I'll usually just settle for a fry up: bacon, mushrooms, fried bread, sausage, beans.. loads of salt and tommy k, can of coke)

Or an irish fry up if I've been on the piss the night before - normal fry up with a steak :)

Bloody hell, I'm glad the mister doesn't know about this one ^^^

Anyway, breakfast = bestest:

fruit salad and Greek yoghurt
toasted bagels with cream cheese
thin pancakes with banana and maple syrup/lemon and sugar
granary toast with peanut butter/honey/chocolate spread/marmalade, or if in a savoury mood, mackerel pate/hummus/cream cheese
veggie fry up NO MUSHROOMS
scrambled eggs with peppers, onions and chilli, and granary toast
American-style pancake stack with blueberries and vanilla ice cream
fresh tomato soup/sushi/pasta and tomato sauce (a great hungover option)
boiled eggs and soldiers

all of the above to be served with lots of tea, please :)

That sounds scrumptious. Where's Bradford-upon-Avon?

Not a massive fan of breakfasts and usually just have a pint of milk and bit toast or a couple of poached eggs if I must. Rather eat a bigger dinner.

Ideal breakfast for me is waking up next to <censored>, cuddling into them and going back to sleep. If there's no morning sex :) :o

mmm, moose that Jersey Black Butter stuff sounds lovely - I've never heard of it! Do you make it or buy it?
My mum brings it back in bulk from Jersey for me every year, where they still have group sessions - La Séthée d'Nièr Beurre - to make it for charity. Or you can get a commercially made one online.

dont normally eat breakfast but fav has to be grilled bacon, poached eggs, beans and toast/fried bread, with a glass or 2 of fruit juice

Favourite breakfast, oh I missed that.

Well it's an Irish fry-up, init, with added hash browns. Smoked bacon (cooked on skillet), white pudding, black pudding (not overcooked), fried or poached eggs (two), beans (with a bit of tobasco), hash browns, (I'm not a big fan of toast), grilled tomato, mushrooms cooked in butter and garlic. Pint of beer or cup of tea.

Loverly (and I have to make it or it won't be right :).

Just can't decide between my favourite breakfast contenders...

a) a physically delicious partner (no getting out of bed required, even)
b) a full-on fry-up (egg, bacon, sausage, tomato, black pudding, hash browns/bubble&squeak ... no beans thx)
c) French toast (eggy bread if you prefer) with syrup (no bacon thx - what you think I am, an american?)
d) nice cup of tea and a spliff (the Dutch breakfast model)
e) huevos divorciados (divorced eggs) - utterly delicious Mexican breakfast with 2 fried eggs, one in a pool of tomatoey sauce and the other in a pool of green chili sauce, each one perched on a tortilla, with refried beans, white cheese, sour cream etc etc etc
f) cafe au lait and pain chocolat

mmm...must...eat...more...breakfast. If I had £loads or won the lottery I would employ a breakfast chef ... not for any other meal (like cooking too much) but somehow insomnia+laziness=no bloody breakfast.

My usual substitute: bit of chewing gum and a menthol ciggie while sprinting to brixton tube... not really the best of breakfasts...
