Your drink of choice at 15

when i first started buying beer in the pub, i ordered pints of bitter, cos that's what my dad drank, and i didn't want to make a twat of myself by asking for a pint of 'beer' :D

pretty much the same, although my dad was (and still is) a lager drinker, and i wanted to be different

Cider - namely diamond white iirc

but i quickly went onto vodka and orange, which isnt the easiest of combinations if youre trying to drink in the park due to lack of glasses, ice and umbrellas. I did try swigging vodka neat but it was too burny :(

I never drank and havent ever drunk lager or beer. it tastes too beery :(

I got really drunk on vodka and orange in my early twenties, puked while lying on my back and was sick as a dog for a week :(

a bottle of mad dog washed down with a can of special vat....anything tasted nice after mad dog so thats prob why I aquired a taste for cider.

Same as now - bitter and dark rum. Except I probably had them in the same glass in those days. :D

I never drank cider when I was a teenager. Thinking about it I didn't really do the big bottle of lager/cider from the offie either. At 15 I was either getting stoned with my mates, or getting into music clubs and drinking the cheapest lager available.

I forgot - my main tipple for a couple of years was a bottle of QC (Queen's Cunt) sherry in a pint glass at the pub. I was 15/16 and couldn't afford to drink from the bar and the sherry was dark enough to look like ale.

Ale if I was having a meal in a pub with my mum.

Bottle of Grolsch with the flippy top if I wanted to look cool in front of my peers.

My dad's homebrew cider at home.

thatchers cider - the local offy sold it on draught...

in the absence of irresponisible parents, whatever was cheap that we could get hold of... strawberry mad dog, and for a few nights a splendidly horrible cider which was known only as '8.2'.

What was mad dog 20:20? Have I made that up?
nasty white wine with various fruit flavourings. they did strawberry, kiwi fruit (with lemon?) and some others. i went through a strange period in my early 20s of drinking the peach one on the park one summer. the smell of it turns my stomach these days...
