Keep looking out for a Raleigh Europa to turn into a fixie, loved the Ti Raliegh livery.

Me too. Except I stopped at the little red bike with stabilisers

Crikey, do people write them all down or summat?

The only ones of mine I can remember are a yellow racer, which my dad found and did up for me when I was about 13/14, a ladies bike with a basket on which I had in my early 20s, and various mountain bikes over the years, the only ones I remember are a green Diamond Back which I assume got pinched (as did 3 or 4 others) a black Specialized Hard Rock which I sold to my friend and a grey/red Specialized Hard Rock which I gave to my sister a couple of months ago when I got my Marin.

All I can say about my bike past bike ownership is that the fun factor definatley does not go up with the price.

I still have my Hardrock and it's as good to ride as any of the more expensive machines I've owned. Bomb proof too, never let me down and handles lovely.

Girls Raleigh Tourer bought from public auction for 2/6 (cycled all over Derbyshire on it as a kid) - somewhat embarrasing as a lad, so I had to peddle fast and hope no-one would notice.

Student Bike from York Police auctions for £5, big green sit up and beg, chain guard, rod breaks, hub dynamo and batteries in a tube mounted holder (it switched from one to the other by some clever wiring I could never figure out)

BSA Javelin, £20 out of local paper..commuter bike in Leeds and cycled all over Ireland on it, even though the frame was about 3" too small (my knees have never been the same since)

Carlton Corsair, touring bike with a fantastic bottom gear, 531 tubing which was all the rage. Toured France with it and used as a commuting bike in London for many years. £50 out of the local paper. Has been on theoretical long term loan to someone for about 12 years.

Raleigh Pioneer hybrid...first bike I ever bought new. Basic but does the job.

I had an orange bike when I was a little kid - how can you guys manage to remember the brand? I'm impressed!
Then I had a Raleigh Grifter.
Then I had another BMX type bike which Kenny Honey extorted from me for £3.86
Fast forward 20 odd years, then I got a Specialized Sirrus - lovely bike, nice and fast
Now I have a Cannondale Bad Boy 07 which I am in love with

A bunch of dirst cheap bikes from Auchan in France until I was 10 and got a Raleigh Outland. That served me well until about 18.

Then, at 22 I got a Condor Italia which I'm still very much in love with.
