Your clothes frustrations at the moment

Evans tights are totally bizarre sizing.

I find M&S extra large fit my short size 20 legs - if that helps.

I'll try M&S again. Perhaps they do XXL nowdays

Was v sad when I grew out of M&S. It's my current ambition to be light enough to shop in places other than Evans and Inspire again :D

How are you with men's clothes, spangly-one?

I need some advice on footwear to go with my new jeans!

describe the jeans and give me more detail about what you want... i'll give it a crack. might choose you a pink pair of heels, but i'll try not to.:o

inside leg lengths

30 is too short for me, 32 is slightly too long, they used to do a 31 everywhere but haven't seen them in years

Buy 32", and get them altered! Or go to M&S - their trousers are all 31" or 33"

i want to buy trousers without having them altered

and m&s are shit for trousers imo, well I don't like them, tend to wear levis jeans, cords, errr, that's it, apart from when i have to wear a whistle for work or an interview

I bought a beautiful dress by Motel from Cult Clothing that I wore for the first time on NYE and it ripped. A proper rip and not just at the seam. I tried taking it back today but was refused as it was not a manufacturing fault.

Manager said it must have been the way I sat down, I suggested that maybe it was a design issue then??? Gutted I am. I'm going to speak with a lady in town to discuss the best way to repair the tear. I'm also considering writing to Motel to ...well I'm not sure really but I really do feel robbed.

Did you pay by credit card - if it's a design fault, it is a genuine dispute and you can legitimately claim back your money.

Maybe try taking it to a really good cleaners like Jeeves for an invisible repair?

I paid cash. It is a short black flimsy cotton dress that has a cut out back. I think I sat down without adjusting my dress to accomodate to be pulled IYSMIM. It's just bloody annoying £40 it cost me. I'm just about to write to the head office of Cult Clothing and to Motel to have a whinge at them.

I want a thin black jumper with a high neck to wear under my coat. Do you think I can find one anywhere? No, almost every jumper in the shops is V necked, which I already have and it's not warm enough as my coat doesn't do right up to the neck.

I love this dress and have about a million (yes, literally a million) in different colours but I really really want bubblegum pink.

The closest I've found is a shit, knee length, v-neck (I haaaate v-necks ) one in h&m.

I also want a long, baggy, leopard print vest. I can't find one of those anywhere either.

Apart from that my only frustrations are not being able to afford what I want

I hate v-necks (see above). M&S have a fake cashmere jumper for £9.50 with a nice neckline.

I'm also having problems finding jeans to fit. I've got a pair of size 12 ones on at the moment but they keep falling down, yet a 10 is too small. I also want some that still fit snugly at the end of the day and don't sag all over the place and that are the perfect length.

I want too much don't I? :(

Well, I've ended up with a pair of size 8 bootleg ones from Matalan. Their sizings are huge btw, I'm not actually anywhere near a size 8! :D

I found a polo neck in Tesco in the end, it was a size too small so it's a bit of the snug side (and makes my boobs look ginormous) but it doesn't matter as I will be wearing under my coat. It also saves me needing a scarf.

Grrr...no reply so I have just penned 2 more letters that I'm sending registered post later..

How about some Nudie jeans that don't have a stupid fucking bright orange stripe on the back of them?

I only recently got a pair of jeans I like after years of looking for the right fit, but now I want to get some more jeans so I have a few pairs, and the nightmare begins again. The worst thing is finding the colours and fit I want. That really is a barsteward. I am a 36 leg though which gives me less choice. I didn't know style and shopping was such hard work.

i can't find a jacket that i like, that's both functional and looks good. i want a brown leather bomber jacket (a used one) but they're so fuckin g trendy at the moment that i'm a bit put off. i tried a couple of penfield quilted jackets on on saturday but i don't think they suited me. the bloke and the woman in the shop reckoned they did though. when i went into the shop a second time for a double-check the bloke saw me come in and shouted "buy it!" but i reckon it didn't work on me. the sleeves wre a bit too short. i like to hide my stupied little slender wristas and hands if possible.

i need a new jacket, srs.

How hard can it be to find some nice, bright, unpadded, colourful bras? and knickers with sensible gussets to match?
I give up. Am going back to my baggy grey ones.

Having a 32 waist and not being able to get the jeans over my thighs. And I don't do a "relaxed" fit.

Slim fit work shirts. Tried Lewins etc, still built for beer-bellied boys.

I need a whole new wardrobe and I'm going for a more classic shirt and trousers look, with some decent shoes as well but I really can't be arsed to trawl though the shops to find them.

So jeans and a t-shirt it is.

I'm having this issue at the moment & it's driving me mad
Found one that I really liked the look of last week in TopShop, but as soon as I tried it on, it just didn't work. I'm going to spend an entire Saturday hunting out a decent Jacket before it's winter all over again

trying to find the maternity dress i have in my head for amy cousins wedding in june

no-one seems to make it

I can't find any jeans to fit me. This is not a new problem. I am not designed for jeans - they're either too short, or not suitable for curves, and I'm not that curvy. I thought the solution was Uniqlo, but they no longer make their jeans super-long. I like their skinny, bright cropped jeans, but can barely fit into a size 14. :(
