Cod and chips man myself though should really rethink...usually only have when I'm starving so go for the biggest portion hence biggest fish....might just go for a couple of battered bellends and be done and not deplete fish stocks and still make myself feel sick afterwards.

Never done the chips and gravy thing....seems popular oooooop north and them f*ckers know their chips...should give it a whirl

For me at the chippy, it has to be a chicken pie. But not a Pukka pie as I don't like them. They use really low grade chicken and you can taste it. They usually have bits of bone still in them too.

not sure what's in them, they're little fishcake like things, covered in batter, sort of meaty, although it might not be meat

I go there too, the fish & chips are lush but the Minty mushy peas I had were served cold! were yours?

You can get veggie pies in loads of chippies. They are all that alleged-cheese and onion stuff.

WTF is in a vegan pie? Other than vegans

Mushroom and tofu with some various bits of veg and a sauce It was yum. I only found it in one chippie in Brighton which sadly closed down a couple of years ago.
