I always have a glass of water upstairs with me. My Charlie cat tends to stay away from it - he's usually too busy restricting my blood flow laying on my legs/feet.
When I was younger I used to take a litre box of orange juice up with me each night. I'd usually drink most of it before I fell asleep though - I have an addiction to cheapo concentrated orange juice
