You favourite internet radio stations?

And being an old anorak – I am currently listening to the Radio Caroline – Europe’s first and only album station.

You have to pick & chose programmes, but you’ll hear great some great album tracks that are not played anywhere else.

Or does the fact they are on Sky 0199 discount them?

Since I discovered that they were back on air a few years ago I listen to nothing else. I remember the old days when they were on the high seas and then when their ship came into dover. At least the records don't jump as much now. www.radiocaroline.co.uk

Thanks for posting the link to the home page I’ve not looked at that for a while, I am book-marked straight to the listen now page.

I see Ronan O'Rahilly, Caroline’s founder, has been made a ‘Fellow of the Radio Academy’.

And was presented his award by a former CEO of GCrAP - I bet that hurt. :D

Ralph Bernard was honourable enough to admit that without Ronan and Radio Caroline, few of the assembled delegates would have found work in the industry. But, he also added that had he seen Ronan 40 years ago it would have been his duty to arrest him, when of course neither Ronan or the radio station actually broke UK law. He and we were just outside of the law.
