Yoko Ono - 20 greatest tracks

Hollis

bloody furious
Luke Haines was recommending this on Twitter...

I gave it a listen overnight fully expecting it to be rubbish - however - it appears Yoko has turned out some brilliant stuff over the years - experimental and something for everyone.

Yoko Ono: her 20 greatest songs – ranked!

Even better for those that drink at the dark cup of Spotify there's a playlist of all the tracks here:

Went to the Yoko Ono Exhibition at the Tate Modern today.. they had this song with the version from Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival.. You are right great song..

Interesting exhibition... she was far out there.. way before Lennon.

Watched all 24 minutes of 'Fly' which saw various young couples come in, giggle for a few minutes, and then leave.

Loved the virtual exhibition she decided to hold at the MOMO without them knowing, and spent an hour watching some documentary on the Toronto peace-in..

And white chess... you play as long as you can remember your pieces..

Obviously everyone is focusing on the 'mad yoko' stuff. But she has done loads of interesting stuff.

I was at the private view (free champagne, B-list celeb heavy crowd) for her ICA exhibition about 20 years ago. I wandered about with my tattered copy of “Grapefruit”, drinking as much of the free fizz as was humanly possible while trying to find her to sign it but to no avail. Later I met up with Mrs SFM who’d not only seen her but briefly chatted to her as well. I was gutted 😞
