That's what I bought due to the recommendations here. Didn't go to Jessops though. Got it much cheaper on-line.

One thing I DON'T like about it is it hasn't got a thingymajig (er, is it an optical viewfinder where you stick it up to your eye? )

Was very difficult taking pictures of the Red Arrows in the sky with just the screen

Hmmm.... Looks really impressive...Very tempting (if you do actually decide to sell it) Plus I really like the idea of buying something second hand.
But, it does seem a bit er...wide though...
I really do want something pocket sized.
Arghhh... I hate making these sort of decisions.

Iam tempted to buy a new camera this weekend , i want one for general pics an some action shots of my dogs afther stuff .

I was thinking of a canon eos 350 would that be up to the task ?

have only really seen them on the camera itself as don't have a computer to put them on (except my sister's). Looked ok on her machine though. Haven't tried to print any out.

Yep, I'm a dab hand now. I can do colour AND black and white

oh, and I figured out how to trim the other day.

and I've now figured what ISO numbers do

and I can take videos

and I can add voice memos to pictures

as for apertures, and speeds and all that bollox, that's beyond me at the moment

Really should get a book on photography to explain these things
