Its bad as I remember the buzz that anti racism events and activity used to have.
All sorts of people used to be involved from war vets who saw the effects of Nazi rule in Europe through to bright eyed students and mixed race families making a stand against the dogshit through the door brigades.
Now look what it has been reduced to. A bunch of SWP members dragooned to attend.
Its pitiful it really is. Time for a rethink about how the fash are to be tackled.
They can now ONLY be tackled by tackling the economic cuases of racism. It's that simple:
until issues of poverty and resource-scarcity are dealt with, the far right will continue to grow unabated. No amount of daft festys and rallies will have any effect other than to shore up support for the far-rigth amongst people who feel abandoned by the entire political process - and that includes the far-left.

*pisses self laughing*
"those who don't learn the lessons of history... etc etc"
wonders how the feck folk really believe that voting for politicians who will further speed up the neo-libral agenda and use exactly the same attempts to divide as NewNeoLiberal Labour is supposed to cut across the growth of the BNP???!!!
