Xmas Craft Club - Sunday 13th December

How would people feel about me and the foal coming along? :eek: We were supposed to be going to Bristol this weekend but because of my cold/dodgy neck we haven't gone. I have gingerbread people shaped cookie cutters (big and small) and a holly leaf one. And some writing icing and hundreds and thousands.

If you think it would be a complete pain, I won't be at all offended

Excellent - we can blame the foal for eating all the biccies to make us feel better :cool:;):)
 
I think 'anytime after 2pm' was the original thought was it not, wry?

I will bring some of that lovely Lidl mulled wine and snacks!

2pm and onwards, but that said, I'll just be pottering around the house, so if people wanted to come earlier, do feel free. I've just put up our little tree, but realised I'll have to get my very tall friend around sometime to put tinsel around the curtain rods over the french doors - doh! :cool:

I successfully found fondue gel stuff which I thought would be impossible to find, so am pleased and feeling suitably festive. Can't wait to see you all!
 
I will bring Lidl speculoos (being a flemish girl at heart I have to have my speculoos at xmas) and I have also got a pack of cellophane gift bags I can bring for us to put our xmas bakings into :)

I am really looking forward to seeing you all. I should warn you that I have pretty much lost my voice - but that's probably a blessing :D

I wonder if that's the same recipe as the speculaas recipe I saw? Probably is I guess, maybe just spelt differently. Either way it sounds good though. And gift bags will also be really handy too.
 
Yay for trashy and the foal! I will be along shortly after 2. I may bring some Xmas cupcakes, if I get my act together to make them in time. Lidl mullered wine for definite though. :)
 
I am drooling at the thought of those Lidl salt 'n' vinegar chipstix but don't have any. Arse! Maybe I'll make a special trip ;)

I meant that I have a box of ready made ones :o You can put them in the gift bags and pretend you made them :D

That was really lovely :) I hope we made our escape before the foal committed any actual carnage - he was certainly thinking about it :D

Was really nice to see so many peeps I haven't seen for ages and food was delish. Special thanks to Ms T for decorating cupcakes with the foal. According to him, he made the cakes all by himself :rolleyes: :D

Your fondue was to die for and the biscuits were lush!

  • A pouch of tobacco - please claim and I can bring back to you.

Eme, sorry you couldn't make it and you have illness plus tax - that is truly awful. Hope to see you soon anyway x

At one point I thought he was going to take a bite out of every one but he got the hang of it eventually. He probably did a better job of decorating them than me, tbf. :D

A lovely afternoon and it's starting to feel like Christmas. Thanks for the fab hostessing, wry. :)

Also mine :rolleyes: Sorry. If you're going to the urban curry you could give them to ... err can't think. Oh just give the baccy away to someone at the urban curry and I'll get the baking sheet another time. You can have the greaseproof paper
