    Anyway, anyone read Altai yet?

If its as good as Q or even 54 I'm in for the HB, but f it's more of a Maintuana I may hold off for a cheap 2nd hand pb.

Aye, and if it's like Manituana I'll have to bump the thread in a few years?

That said Q is my very favourite novel, of all time. It sends shivers up my spine every time I read it. Bursting out with exclamations of "Fuck yeah!" . So, so good.

54 was pretty good. But not in the same league.

Manituana I really should pick up again. But every time I think of it I just end up reading Q again instead...

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Altai.

Really enjoyed it so far (though not as good as Q - but then what is?). The Novara interview and their recent talks give an accurate idea of what it's like.

So yeh Chilango - more along the lines of Q than Manituana

I'm halfway through Altai and I think it's great. Well paced, and some good cussing in there.

Apparently Roberto from Wu-Ming is on radio 4 now as part of a 15 minute programme called "Europe's Trouble Makers"

It's a bit wake up sheeple on the face of it, but we'll see.

    Or cover.

As far as I can gather, it is set during the French Revolution. I can't find much more than that. I like the idea of it.

    *Bump* indeed.

    Finally, finally, reading Altai.

    Really enjoying it.

While I'm sure people the world over would like to see translations into their local language, I think this needs to be balanced against the dangers that global Wu Ming could cause.
