Anyway, anyone read Altai yet?

If its as good as Q or even 54 I'm in for the HB, but f it's more of a Maintuana I may hold off for a cheap 2nd hand pb.
 
That said Q is my very favourite novel, of all time. It sends shivers up my spine every time I read it. Bursting out with exclamations of "Fuck yeah!" . So, so good.

54 was pretty good. But not in the same league.

Manituana I really should pick up again. But every time I think of it I just end up reading Q again instead...
 
I'm about 2/3 of the way through Altai.

Really enjoyed it so far (though not as good as Q - but then what is?). The Novara interview and their recent talks give an accurate idea of what it's like.

So yeh Chilango - more along the lines of Q than Manituana
