I use to enjoy CS source but never bothered playing it enough to get to clan match standard.

I loved the original Day of Defeat and was in two of the top'ish UK clans. I bet the source version doesn't have the same sence of community.

TBH though my PC ain't up to proper gaming. I'm an Xbox puppy now but have ditched Xbox Live for a bit to save cash.

graphics much better, thogh my machine might well slow up when things heat up i dont know yet.

it seems to be installing it as i play. defo need to learn it up because it's a very different game.

can you use heroes in pvp? i hope so; that sounds kewl.

They have changed the XP gained from monsters and quest bonuses to make it easier to lvl up to 60.

7 days is still pretty good going

I have 120 days played on my main. 45000+ HK's.

Some of my guild members have 5 lvl 70's thou hehe it's a sadness competition sometimes and erm I'm pretty much up there with the saddest.

The record post 2.3 is 5 days played to 60. This toon was already at 30 when the patch came out. But 1-20 is a doddle (explaining my numerous level 20 alts). I haven't got a 70 yet.... Thinking I may re-spec shockadin for Outlands....

It opens doors to guilds far more than saying i have 12 lvl 40 chars!

Now of course I have no chars as I quit to get a life. Possibly those with 12 lvl 40s had more of a life than me and I was the one with his priorities wrong.

I'll be honest with you mate the end game isn't all it's cracked up to be.

The most fun for me was the leveling up instances. Since the implementation of the current stupid LFG system it's far easier to get groups in the lvl up brackets.

Usually at end game each realm develops a few elitest guilds and tbh it's no longer much fun to play plus the stupid attunement and rep grinds for heroics is both time consuming and absolutely boring.

Well i loved the part of end game where you downed a infamous boss for the first time by pulling together as a team and cracking the complicated tactics required.

But to be honest the amount of work required to reach that moment got heavier and heavier until the pleasure / work ratio wasn't at all worth it.

Then you had to keep killing said boss over and over and over ad infinitum until everyone had the kit they needed, which was never cause people kept coming and going. Yawn. Bored now.

Yeah I agree doing Hakkar, MC and stuff was really great but somewhow TBC has lost all that 40 player magic. Plus getting the same buch of people to run over an instance like robots is just crap. Even though it's almost impossible, I really enjoyed PUG's.

I'm perverse, I used to lmao at the Teamspeak chat when we wiped.

The arguments were just fucking hilarious

I think in the TBC people expected a new azeroth but what they got was just a cheap rehash.

I guess Azeroth is always going to be a beautiful place it's just a pity they couldn't expand on the art work as Outland looks shit imo.
