I know I've said this more than once before, but 'use by' dates should always be adhered to. They are there for your own safety. They are not the same as 'sell by' or 'best before' dates.

Eggy stuff can often be inedible long before any dates are up. Depends how it was made & how well you store it.

Quiche is one of the biggest single culprits in certain forms of food poisoning as well. You need to be really careful with it.
