Only 3.5% for Respect in Birmingham Aston, but beat Tories, BNP and Greens (!), but apparent squeeze in marginal seat - its was Labour gain from LibDems after candidate was arrested for postal vote scandal, in ward where Labour were disqualified for vote rigging last year ... and now they are back, amazing.
 
Oh my god! Socialist Party lose seat of Labour defector in Stoke to BNP, and pushed into third place ...

If you're looking for individual councils, try their own websites. Bristol was being updated all the time as results came in. Full results, turnouts and share of vote :cool:

Still waiting for Horfield to come in though :mad:

Not all councils are offering the live updates though.

creepy far right parties the 'Conservatives' and 'Labour' also doing depressingly well :(
 
Excellent result for Respect in Liverpool. 'Best Green result in Liverpool in 2004' someone said. Alas no more. Beaten by Respect in their first outing.
