Do try The Chipwick though! They used to have a sign saying 'UK Top Chip Shop Winner 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999' until, I assume, it got too long to have on the shop!

But, as with all my receommendations - 4+ years out of date

Yeah Chipwik is good - as is 'Just 100' which is almost next door. A bit pricey but a nice cafe, decent food and good servicel
