worst newspaper

Actually the Express is probably the only paper you can read the truth about Diana in (although they do go on, and on...)but i'll certainly give you the rest.

Oh please don't tell me you believe that? Surely you've read the eyes repeated exposing of that damned rubbish they print.

The Eye have a grudge against Al Fayed and are probably shit scared of the powers that be themselves.. You'd have to be pretty naive to think nothing sinister happened.

On the contrary i think you'd have to be pretty naive to believe anything that wretched old crook Al Fayed came out with. Or are you one of those guys who believes in twelve foot shape shifting lizards, Elvis being alive and living in Grimsby, JFK being shot by John Peel, Hitler killing Marilyn Monroe, and Bush using a remote control to fly all those planes into their targets on 11/09/01?:D

(I made some of those up guess which one's and win a year long subscription to nuts magazine!)

Of course you have choices, we all have. You choose to give your money to sniggering ex-public schoolboys. That isn't better than being interested in soaps, just different.

(For the record, I'm a Corrie fan. I won't do any spoilers here, but I've read something about a storyline involving Ken and Roy that's got me chuckling...)

I like corrie/ soaps but I really don't appreciate the mirror's spoilers! And the cheapo listing magazines.

Nothings a surprise anymore.

The Metro. Its free and pretty unbiased

You're kidding, right? It's the Mail lite. Literally - it's the same stories as in the Mail, written by the same writers, employed by the same company. It's hugely biased.

See, for the rest of this thread I think you're trolling, and I certainly hope you are about the Diana/Express thing. But this post seemed serious. :( I commiserate you on the demise of your brain.

I say I don't like them. But I read them. Then I say to the Mrs: "I know something about Corrie." And she'll say: "What?" Then I'll be: "I don't want to spoil it for for". And she'll say: "You have to tell me now!"

Finally she'll say "Oh, that? I read that in a magazne last week."

People whinge about The Mail, but the express and star are more viruently racist IMO.

The Mail can be suprisingly good on issues like animal rights and GM food.

Sunday papers are all kind of rubbish, aren't they? Especially the tabloids.

The Sunday Mirror is almost 100% newsfree :D although at least it isn't full of nasty stories about dolies.

ooh, no that's just not right. This was their exclusive last week, damn good journalism to my mind.

1. Diana died because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Nothing more sinister than that.

2. Define w/c pls trev, because your comment about The Sun 'going bust' really does hinge on whether you define w/c in the Marxian sense (in which case you're correct), or in the ABC1C2DE sens, in which case you're wrong. Biggest chunk of purchasers and readers of the Sun are C1C2s; in fact the Sun has a higher AB readership than the FT and Independent put together...

3. Readers buy the paper that they want to. You mentioned The Mirror's stand against the Iraq war - that cost them 1/2 million in sales which they haven't made back yet. People read newspapers because they reflect what they think - hence the constant 'PC' tirades in the DM and Sun because you aren't allowed to be racist anymore, this is how and what their readers think. If Rebecca Wade suddenly started publishing stories on workers rights, TUs and suchlike The Sun's circulation would plummet.

Daily Express: DON'T GO OUTSIDE!!! It's full of immigrants and nasty people and...Oh if only Diana was here!
Daily Mail: ASBOs, Asylum Seekers, Speed Cameras Speed Cameras
The Independent: ARE YOU RECYCLING? YOU JUST KILLED A POLAR BEAR! YOU!
The Telegraph: Cricket! Church of England! Public School Rumpus! Europe!

Same link mate :D

You forgot:

The Guardian in the corner fanning itself with a wallchart saying 'Oh you little children'...

Oh come on, people.

Four pages and nobody mentions the towering pillar of crap that is Socialist Worker?

You're slipping, I swear.

Most people are against the Iraq War.

Diana- CCTV cameras pointing the wrong way outside the tunnel, the fact that she told people she was gonna be bumped off (like David Kelly) , a load of money pain into the drivers bank account by the powers that be...i could go on for ages.

The Sun - you're talking in a foreign language. Working class - the ordinary working man or woman.

Most people are against the Iraq War.

They weren't during the main conflict when the Mirror lost 500K sales in 2 weeks.

Diana- CCTV cameras pointing the wrong way outside the tunnel, the fact that she told people she was gonna be bumped off (like David Kelly) , a load of money pain into the drivers bank account by the powers that be...i could go on for ages.

The only person who survived was a bodyguard wearing a seatbelt. The three who died weren't wearing seatbelts. VERY simple

The Sun - you're talking in a foreign language. Working class - the ordinary working man or woman.

Who might that be then? Who are these' ordinary working men and women'? You haven't got a fucking clue. But then judging from the rest of your posts that's no real surprise...

Wow, hardly ever visit UK P&P nowadays, but

Actually the Express is probably the only paper you can read the truth about Diana in (although they do go on, and on...)but i'll certainly give you the rest.

looks like I've been missing out.

Keep up the good work, people!
