Not talking about brit-pop or any of that, just all the performers who have no talent other than being photogenic and able to dance a little bit, passing themsselves off as recording artists and appearing on CDUK / TOTP / Smahs hits etc... they are the lowest of the low... even worse than Christian Rock and Bell ringing imo.

I was born in late 70s, don't remember jack about music pre-1985, so don't really feel qualified to comment on older stuff.

I've been getting back into New Gold Dream again as well for old times sake. They were really rather good before it all went down hill with stadium cock wank stuff.

Gangsta Rap - because I can't identify with it in any way and I just find it extremely irritating.
Most modern R&B which sounds like supermarket music and is no way comparable to the original stuff which had real feeling (imo).
Not too keen on english folk music either.
