The new Lodon Bridge Station:

project13_image2.jpg

If it ever happens - the developers of the Shard are already trying to reduce their contribution to the interchange with the new bus station, and I wonder what office rentals the economics of that TB Bennett scheme for the new concourse were based on.

BTW The attractive brick building on the north side of the station, which somebody on the Skyscraper city forum claims would stay, does get demolished as part of the wider Thameslink plans for London Bridge station.

The platform reorganisation has to happen as part of the £5.5 billion Thameslink Project. Non-neg.

I don't know anything about the wrigglings of the Shard people.

I hate London Bridge. From getting off the shitty overcrowded Southern service to the morons thronging about outside the tourist hell that is The London Dungeon, I hate it.

Euston is bad but at least just about accessible. London Bridge is by far the worst, awful...how to make it as difficult as poissible to find and to get your platform. After following the signs around in circles I actually gave up on finding a toilet in that place.

I like London Bridge personally, perhaps I am ignoring the crapness of the station because I like the area of SE1?
Euston is a bit meh for me but not for any major reason really.
Kings Cross is also a bit meh but have not been there much.
