Worst film list - wih a twist

Never got Mars attacks. I could see what it was trying to do,m but just one of those films that didnt quite click

Master and commander

Smokin Aces

Big Something

I like all of these to a greater or lesser extent. I can't see how any of them could be construed as 'worst films' (though I can see how each might not be to everyone's taste), they're all - at least - competently constructed.

Here's some I think meet the criteria:
  • The Happening
  • Shoot 'Em Up
  • Wanted
  • W∆z (AKA The Killing Gene)

The old one:

Worst Film I Have Ever Seen - Jack Says.

Its a British Gangster movie with Mike Read playing the baddie crossed with Sin City (so they reckon).

Worst Film I Have Never Seen - Birdemic.

You just have to watch the trailer. It almost wants to make me watch it, then I have a have a word with myself :) - check out the bird 'special effects' :D

Shoot em up is pure genius!!! It's so so obvious but with such great action sequences. I knew i was going to love that film about 5 seconds after breed started playing during the intro.

I love silly action films and that is carrot killing gold!!!

Brokeback Mountain was boring and self indulgent and too tryhard trendy. Michelle Williams was good tho

There was no twist apart from the queerness

The Painted Veil. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT THEFUUUUCK???!!!

Who the fuck thought it'd be a good idea to plough ahead with this beyond-cliched, sub-scripted pile of futile wank? If you haven't foreseen every major plot development within 15mins of the film starting, then, well.

Master & Commander is a fantastic film.

The Incredibles was mostly very unfunny. If this is what Pixar films are like then i'm not in a hurry to see any more (people say Toy Story is really really good though, so i'll give that a chance).

both Punisher films were total shite.

There were three Punisher film adaptations - the 2004 one with Thomas Jane was, IMO, definitely a cut above both the 1989 Dolph Lundgren one and 2008's Punisher: War Zone with Ray Stevenson and directed by Lexi Green Street Alexander.
