working class tories - lowest of the low?

But then they wouldn't be 'left' , they would be Blairite/Brownite crawlers

They aren't even Blairists or Browinsits - they still claim to be red-in-blood-&-tooth socialist lefty militants. They often take the perverse view that the manager who's shitting on you is a misunderstood "comrade" - as their pay isn't much higher than yours. Work that one out...

Working Class Tories lowest of the low? Not by a long chalk. That'd be your 'Champagne Socialists', surely?

Depends what you mean by that - if it means people who are rich who still fight for those worse off (ie Tony Benn) i have no problem with that - but if you mean Blairite/Brownite ministers who totally sold out then, fuck em, they are on the same level as working class tories - ie the gutter

if that's the case then perhaps you should focus your bile on the upper classes who own the media and the upper middle classes who write for them (yes even the tabs). if you focus it on our peers, aren't you just falling into the trap the media has laid, every bit as much as those working class tories are?

trouble is no one working class can form a party, it costs too much money. The closest we had was Labour when it WAS Labour.

well according to violent panda the unions dont just fund the labour party so seeing how they have millions and having donated it have got fuck all in return the question should be why there is no alternative or why its is some donate to respect and swp but give fuck all really to groups like the iwac

There was always a scab tradition in the Notts Coalfields, they tried to pull the same stunt after 1926 with the Spencer Union.

The majority of egg packers are scabs, still to this day, they pop up on jobs sometimes and fuck me, I've never met a more self serving bunch of snitching, sneaky bastards.

We had a one day strike last year due to site amenities, no washing up place and no tea making facilities, all the fucking egg packers scabbed, 25 in all, nobody else on the company out of 300 blokes crossed that line, the packers did though.

cunts.

I worked with crawlers like that at Asda, best look for another job when the place is that fucked.

i've noticed recently how some self-proclaimed left wing people (either on bulletin boards on in real life!) seem actually to have a very low opinion of human nature? funny i thought this was one of the defining attitudes of right wing people!

Conservatives fear change - socialists think it will never happen. :)

I welcome change and think it always happens, such is dialectical thought.:)

I have a very low opinion of human nature because i see people voting BNP, Tory and New Labour, and more to the point SUPPORTING Purnell's Hitlerite reforms, how am i supposed to have a high opinion of human nature? It wasnt like this in the 80's...people stuck together and hated Thatcher

I'm quite content about my life but i worry about the future , for my mates, the bairn and anyone working class
Thatcher won 3 elections but how could she fail with the full support of the media!!

Yeah it's just like Nazi Germany, etc etc etc.

Purnell's proposals do have quite a bit in common with the "work creation" schemes Adolf instituted in 1933-34, weirdly enough. The whole "food and shelter for local labour" schtick that got a lot of public housing built, and has been the lifeblood of "workfare" schemes the world over.

Then of course you had the road gangs...

And also New Labour's PFI schemes were originally dreampt up by Mussolini (true!). They wouldn't gas the jews mind you, well not unles they stoped donating to the party!

From it's just like Nazi Germany...to it's all the fault of the meeeeja. You really shouldn't worry about the working class, especially as you seem to have such a low opinion of so many of them. People vote for all kinds of different parties for all kinds of complex, intelligent, and really dumb reasons.

Sing along with the common people,
sing along and it might just get you through,
laugh along with the common people,
laugh along even though they're laughing at you,
and the stupid things that you do.
Because you think that poor is cool.

I sometimes wish people would be more imaginative with their dictatorial analogies. No one ever likens any situation to Kadar's Hungary or post-war Communist Poland for example. It's always Nazi Germany (although good points by Violent Panda in this incidence).
