I'm being a bit dramatic - the event arenas are all fine. Just the apartments could be a bit chilly in the bathroom area. It wasn't a problem

Yes and yes. I'm just having a pointless whinge Thanks to Perplexis, who turned up early, we got a better chalet and didn't have to spend the whole weekend shovelling pennies into a leccy meter

But if we're talking luxury in the hot tub/fluffy towels/champagne on ice/rose petals on the pillow sense, then no, it was not luxurious

Luxury= Free electricity (i.e. constant heating!), shower, French windows, being in the same quad as Plastician, better furniture, less ragged, generally.
I believe I only got a luxury one because of a mistake by Pontins though...

Last year I got one by sheer force of charm []- booked really early and did it over the phone. The lady I spoke to offered me a luxury one for the same price as the rest
This year they seem to have the booking thing a bit more sorted so the chances are we all have to go in the plebeian accommodation and spend the weekend trying to slide little magnetic strips into the mouth of the meter, which is a bit of a shitter
