Woody Allen 'genius' or 'shit'?

been out of the loop with Woody Allen fillums for yonks....but theres a new one showing in my local cinema called 'Blue Jasmine' - will check it out and report back!

I want to see that. Cate Blanchett is meant to be amazing in it.

Blue Jasmine is very good indeed. Cate Blanchett gives an Oscar-worthy performance as a Park Avenue princess who is falling apart. The ending is genuinely shocking imho.

There is some discussion of Blue Jasmine on the films you have seen thread. I wasn't a big fan.
