Woo hooo! Gok's In St Ives!

You haven't watched it much, then? :D

as usual circumstance has forced me to observe him in action.

Ginger matt reckons he is not actually a gay but has cultivated this whole hoax personality that lets him squeeze boobs and get women to unclothe on his whim.

Seems a bit far fetched imo.

He doesn't do any more grabbing than Trinny & Susannah tbf.

Fashion is about conformity. Women like me feel enough like outsiders without struggling to work out what makes us look 'normal' enough. Yeah, I could buck the conformist trend and wear mini skirts and boob tubes but I think I'd prefer someone like Gok to assist me in working out what allows me to look the best I can.

And I reckon Ginger Matt might just be creating a smokescreen for his feelings for King Gok ;)

Ha! He's in the gallery that I blagged me and Quimmy free drinks in on Saturday :D He hasn't bought any of those clothes in Penzance/St Ives though :hmm:

Well far be it for me to decide what style icons and fashion guides y'all should take cues from.

But if you aren't spooky kid goth/emo/punk/skingirl or other non mainstream fashion, well. Well.

Like him or not he made that woman look soooooo much better*

Yes, Dotty, I know 'better' is a judgement on my part :D

he makes them from the unformed into the rigid definitions and tosses out praise for their conformity.

I'm a bit militant on this tbf, even though I have no real direct experience on it:hmm:

No, he doesn't :D

Remember what I said about feminist men, Dotty. You wouldn't want to be responsible for that particular involuntary physical reaction in a woman my age. I might never get it back :hmm:

to observe disparity in any sphere doesn't then mean one is subject to a certain label. Miss.

And you can get HRT for that you know.:p

I don't even know what that means :(
The observation of inequality. Be it gender, sexuality or economic based. To comment upon an aspect of it it makes me no feminist, nor a communist. To observe and comment upon structural inequalities, this is a basic right. Doesn't make me a feminist or even a socialist (tho I am a socialist). It just means I comment upon these issues from the position of someone who abhors inequalities of any stripe.
The PCT won't fund clitoris replacement therapy when it's been caused by feminist men

You need to have a word. The NHS should fund a man to come round and speaketh male while beating his chest, this is known as Direct Incisive Clitoral Knowledge for the Occasional Feared Folk.

DICK OFF ennit

Fair enough but would you go out with a minger?

Define minger enit.

At risk of sounding like a total knob, sometimes the most beautiful girls can be rpugnant morally.

Not that that would stop the once-off:o

yup.

he does give women confidence, which i like, but it's confidence in a very narrow sense - body and fashion-focused to look a certain way.

i certainly don't think he's the god that a lot of people here seem to think.

And that's all just fine and dandy until you're a woman who doesn't fit the sterotypical template. I want to look nice, I want to be found attractive, I want to be liked.

Shoot me :)

Are you sure you're not? My friend said almost exactly the same thing the other night and shes gorgeous. The streotypical templates bullshit.

I was sitting next to Gok yesterday outside the Design museum...he was getting bothered by fans asking for photos.
