Sounds really exciting, but to echo what other people have said, look after your rights and your intellectual property when it comes to this. You should make sure you sign something and get it checked over by someone in the know. It's every man for the intellectual property he can claim for himself in the world of telly, from what I've heard. Good luck!

I have no contribution about the programme makers but that blog is excellent. I have bookmarked it. I now also know where I have been going wrong with caremelising onions. I need to turn the gas down and be less impatient.

Okay, I've spoken to the man and this is the deal: they're inviting me to film a 90-second segment at home on a topic of my choosing. They're not so much wanting me to cook, more speak about something food-related I'm passionate about or do a rant or whatever. I can go to him with any ideas I have. At the end they will say where viewers can find my blog.
There is no fee (surpise, surprise), but if my segment is popular they may invite me back to do more segments which they would pay for. So far they've got about 10 other UK food bloggers on board.
