Hey - sounds like it went really well! They obviously like you as a person, hence all the festie chat, so they can probably see you fitting in, so I wouldn't worry too much about the IT stuff...you're bound to be a bit slow after being out of a working environment for 4 years

Didn't get it, sadly.

I was second and very close, apparently. A bit disappointed as it was an area of work I was genuinely interested in. Pity. Everything else I could feasibly go for atm doesn't look anything like as interesting as this one did.

Never mind. Seeing as it's the first job I've gone for properly I'm not too downhearted - at least I'm getting interviews. Given the current economic situation and the fact I've not worked for so long, that's not a bad thing.

Shame you didn't get it, but I reckon it won't be long before you get something. No one would touch me with a bargepole after I'd graduated, cos I'd been out of work for so long (and there wasn't a bloody recession on then either!). You're doing well!
