I've been loving the Sainsburys 3 for £10 offers on Chardonnay for the last few weeks.

the "Tatty Road, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc" it's about a tenner a bottle, but gorgeous, bought some for xmas

they also had chateauneuf de pape for about £9, and that is a lovely wine too

don't mind spending a tenner or so on a decent red wine

Oh, and there's nowt wrong with Chilean wine. I'm currently enjoying an impertinent yet inspiring Carmanare from the Rapel Valley, which as I'm sure you know, is the finest terroir for this grape in the country.

On Thursday night i had a bottle of Chat du Pape that was a Xmas gift from a customer and i bet they paid a pretty penny for it. I did the whole bottle in.

£49.99 in our local gastro pub or £21 wholesale and agreed is a very nice red
