I'll save you the bother of getting links. I know I do this on occasion mostly because I'm bowled over by Linux when compared to Windows and feel that for me (even though I'm an appliance operator) it is a better and less clunky and more transparent system. To me it has all the atributes off an SIII Land Rover it does what it says on the tin.
I apreciate that there are things that Win will do that Linux will not and that some people have software that will run on nothing but Win. However, my personal experience with windows has not been a very happy one and I'm glad I changed over.
If I come over a bit evangalistic about linux then thats because I am having struggled for years with various windows fuckups and security problems and spyware the green fields and user friendliness (once you get it going that is

) that I get from linux allows me to concentrate on what I'm doing rather than what has gone wrong.
