Should be dropping any day now.

Here's what's new for those that want to early adopt and install fresh/upgrade as soon as the ISO is available. For everyone else, it will probably get forced upon you at some point if you are still on version 1607 or before which has it's support offically end today.

This is a really good slide show talking about the good solid upgrades and features that are in the 1803 release. The formatting of the slide show is slightly annoying so bear with the "next" "next" and click through.

I don't want to send you into overdrive, but did you hear that Microsoft have brought back the original File Manager?

My laptop barely survived the last bullshit windows update. Like it took me several days to drag the system and everything on it back from black-screen oblivion. How can I prevent this latest update from happening?

I'd be happy if it worked like a Chromebook.

It will ask you now rather than just doing it.

Took them long enough to develop that feature.

The last update killed my laptop. I spent three days trying everything to get it to work. In the end I reinstalled Win7. I seem to be a bit of an exception, but I've had nothing but trouble with Win10.

From researching online (while trying to rescue my own computer) it certainly seems like windows 10 has form for destroying people's computers. None of the official microsoft fixes or crowdsourced folk remedies I found worked in the end, I had to reinstall windows from scratch losing all my software
