Forgot it has started
It won't start until England get knocked out of the World Cup
Well reminded. I'm home, ill and bored.
It's coming home?
Come on Boulter
I don't want to sound like a shallow sexist pig but she is stunning. Anna Kournikova can jog on and get sponsored by Primark
Wawrinka looking shaky
Caps on backwards

Tim got the first set
The only good thing about Wimbledon this year is its lower profile due to the world cup
Watched Edmund vs Djokovic. Kyle put up a reasonable fight but wasn't quite good enough. There was one point where the ball bounced twice before Edmund hit it, he touched the net, and the ball landed out, and he still one the point at a crucial stage in the match. If Novak went on to lose the match after that he would have had every right to be thoroughly pissed off.
I’d urge anyone remotely interested in tennis to watch Strokes of Genius, a new, nicely produced documentary about the Fed vs Nadal 2008 Wimbledon final. It just aired on BBC2 but it’s on the iPlayer. Really good.
The commentators keep going on about Serena coming back from having a baby. What they fail to mention is that she also had two pulmonary embolisms That's some major shit to come back from.
Fed in a fifth set tiebreak
There's no tie break in the fifth set.
Anyway the Fed has just lost.
Epic match. Kevin Anderson showed great mental toughness and resilience.
Yeah you are right I did know that but am a bit distracted today #itscominghome
Yes, it is about time for Wimbledon because I can see rain clouds gathering always the same.
I wanted Fed to win. Going to catch up with Novak vs Kei, saw some of the highlights and there were some cracking rallies, so might watch that followed by DelPot/Nadal. ( #NotWatchingTheFootball )
Nadal/Del Potro was a fucking AWESOME match. #BetterThanTheFootball
Wanted Del Potro to win but Nadal showed why he's world number 1 with champions reserve.
Takes too long in between points though, which I find annoying.
Fed was definitely showing Human signs from his aged body making a tremendous number of errors. He will struggle to win another slam after this Golden opportunity
He cheated with his near freakish height
But isn't it harder for the taller players to move about the court?
...and also they're more prone to injury.
Anyway fair play to him, he did very well, but I'm still annoyed at him beating my main man RF. I was greedy on his behalf for another Grand Slam title. I think that's it for him now and It might be a good time for him to call it a day.
I don't usually bother with mixed doubles but watched this one today. Well done to Jamie (the Scot) and Victoria. Good game...good game.
Maybe, but the serve is the most important shot. Ok, Federer has one of the greatest serves ever (along with Sampras), but he's *only* 6'2...those extra inches for these lanky players creates some crazy angles/power.
I still think fed has another Major in that aged body
I got to see Kyle and konta on centre last week. I thought you should all know.
Was there tennis on last week?
Reminded me to buy strawberries and cream from the co-op this week
