no league trophy and much harder to get to fa cup proper. Also i don't really understand your point you dont get money from winning games and im guessing finnishing mid table in league 2 gets a considerably higher pay out then winning the conference.

I doubt away followings in the Conference will be so much worse than in Division 4 and assuming Luton start well then that will be outweighed by full houses hopefully. As for much harder to get into the Cup, well it's only one win and they're in the first round proper so not sure I understand that tbh.

Finishing mid table Division 4 gets no pay out whatsoever, there is no prize money for anything other than going up in the Football League.

Without the points penalties this season Luton and Bournemouth would be mid table, Chester and Grimsby would be yards adrift at the bottom, Darlington would be in the play off zone and Rotherham would be in an automatic promotion place.

Thing is though that to take a couple of examples I know a little bit about, wrote off a debt of around a million quid at the start of the season while Grimsby are still struggling on with debt from the ITV Digital collapse. That's an enormous advantage at League 2 level.

The way it's dealt with has been really badly handled, as you'd expect with the football authorities, but there do need to be some sort of measures in place to deal with teams going into administration. It's not just a case of teams being randomly victimised by the FA.

Ohh fair enough i thought they had a couple of qualifying games to get through tpo the first round.
Didn't know there was no prze money for league psotions in league either:confused: swear you get a pay out in champ manager.

i'm gutted.

it was very quiet after the game yesterday but I think most fans are still fairly optimistic - inclduing myself.

This is the rebirth of our club - new owners, a well-run club, debt free, and everything to play for next season. I'm looking forward to seeing us play AFC Wimbledon (assuming they go up) and Forest Green Rovers (the club where I grew up). There's gonna be a lot of new grounds to visit!

I only hope we can keep most of the players...

Even though one of the main west ham books is called 'an irrational loathing of luton', I quite like them myself, mostly because Pavement supported, or claimed to support, them. :D

Hope you come straight back up :)

Pavement - arm in arm with Eric Morecambe and Nick Owen

Actually, Luton had an Eric Morecambe day when Morecambe came to Kenilworth Road this year, they gave the away fans free mince pies

Which was nice :)
