Mighty Boosh: Love it, very funny, Vince and Bob Fossil are fucking ace

Will And Grace: Watched it for about 15 seconds once. Seemed like shit to me.

i make no claims whatsoever for W&G being great comedy. It just has some occasional good lines. And thus is funnier than Mighty Boosh, which is just wacky.

they are so non-threateningly asexual and cute!

I wish I was Grace so I could get into all kinds of kooky misunderstandings and have all kinds of hang ups about inconsequential relationship nonsense with those gays.

I've never seen The Mighty Boosh, but I have watched a few episodes of Will & Grace. It's rubbish, but there's something about that rich, drunk bird - Karen? - that I find strangely attractive. There, I've said it.

the mighty boosh is not just "wacky" at all. it's funny, and it's clever. any percieved "wackiness" is not just there for the sake of it, it all fits into - and helps - the narrative. it's not like in, for example, family guy where something weird just happens that has nothing to do with the storyline. even the little sections where the moon has something to say fit in, like when they fly past hm on a magic carpet.

will & grace is offensively shite and not fit for human consumption.

the mighty boosh is merely try-too-hard surrealism for boring students.

Will & Grace is 'kooky'?

More like Will & Grace is boring, vacuous run-of-the-mill aspirational American shite about rich people in their stylish apartments..... just like all other Amercian comedy. The only difference is the inclusion of camp gay men which we are meant to think of as a massive step forward for gay representation. A bit like when Graham Norton first started up on Channel 4.

Mighty Boosh is also shite though.

you only say that cos you're not old enough to know what to like yet. once you're as old as me, you'll start to learn what's good and what's not.

I fucking hate that Shaman.
Having a stupid face and acting badly not out of choice is not funny.

he seems to have a surprising power over attractive, young ladies. Plus he'd fit into your pocket in real life.

i do like the Mighty Boosh ('spesh the moody smelly looking bloke)

but i LOVE Will and Grace (the early episodes mainly)

i want to be, or to have as my friend, Karen. she is a marvel. and a wonderful woman. all women should aspire to be like Karen imo.

Grace gets on my nerves though, and i only watch it for the other two. i even bought a box set. that's how much i love it. :)

That would explain why everyone your age agrees with you then.

P.S. shite shaman.

The moon, I like the moon! When it sings it makes me happy :)

p.s. The only good thing in Will & Grace is Karen IMO.

I like Grace's hair though

yeh, it's ok in the early epsisodes, not so ok later on when she gets it all bouffanted and straightened (imo) again. i just don't like her whiney screechy voice, but then, that's the character isn't it.

Will's ok. a bit dull but does the job i s'pose.

Karen and Jack rule.

oh and a minor irritation. not really worth mentioning.

Grace's nose.

it makes me feel a bit sick. like Victoria Beckham's does.

shallow i know.

if it helps, i'm not proud of myself. :(

Yeh, it's lovely when it's all ringletty :) The colour's stunning.

Heh, one of my daughter's best mates IS Jack! :D

has there EVER been a funny US series?

i can't think of one. maybe Family Guy and Simpsons

Not only are Frazier, W&G and all the rest not funny, they are from the yankee smug smuggy smug school of humour which is nauseating
