Will fly spray kill a spider?

Bunch of bastards

I'm fucking petrified of them but you shouldn't kill them.

*saves up all the spiders and sends them to everyone who's cruel to them*

Bastards :(

Spiders are our friends. They fight goblins and octupuss.
Exactly!

When't the last time you saw an octopus in your lounge? And when the goblins come to get you I'll laugh my socks off :D

I have tried before when I was a teenager on those big balck ones with zero success. I dont like using flyspray either, some of the pesticides they put in are not exactly innocuous to humans.

For spiders i prefer a pint glass and piece of cardboard to put them outside. i normally get someone else to do it though as I am shit scared of them.

I'll normally just pick them up with me hands and put them outside , only the really massive ones where you can actually see their jaws get the pint glass treatment .

Moths and crane flies on the other hand get splattered with whatever I can find  annoying bastards

Moths are amazing! They are so many different types and they all look really cool. To disguise themsleves from predators, some look like twigs or leaves, or other types of insect. One even looks like an elephant!

Daddy long legs are just crap, I normally just avoid killing them and put them outside out of pity.

If moths want to disguise themselves to stop themselves being killed maybe they should try stop being so damn annoying

along the same lines but light a spliff and blow under the glass.. hours of fun :D plus gives you the courage to get rid of the bugger

Don't kill it. Spiders are nice. Pick it up with a glass and a bit of magazine and put it outside.

:)
If you had a friend with severe agoraphobia who hadn't left the house in 5 years would you tell them "don't be silly,it's lovely out today,go and get some sun on your skin"? Cos that'd be more realistic than asking me to pick up a spider. Yes,it's irrational.Phobias-like all forms of mental illness-are.

No they are not - agoraphobia is very different from arachnophobia. It has much more impact on people's lives. Most people who describe themselves of having phobias have mere aversions rather than full blown phobias. I'm not saying that you don't though.

I haven't slept properly for over a month cos there's been loads of spiders in my flat and i'm scared shitless of them. But you're right,it's probably just an aversion,i'm probably just being silly.

Er. Did you read my post?
I said 'most people' - as in people who just freak out when they see spiders but can deal with them if they have to. Not you then :)
