Will Barbecue sauce ever come out of white jeans?

Relatedly, I dropped an olive on a grey cotton dress yesterday and now have olive oil marks down it - how can I get them out?

I hope not.. but with the advent of nu-rave I have little faith in today's youth. I regularly find myself chuckling at the awkward looking cyber-goth-esque monsters roaming the streets, timidly.

you sound older than me:D

I know.. and as little as 6 years ago I had bright red hair, piercings, the works.. my reasoning is that mine looked cool, and it was original ;)

Another question relating to stains on something white-

I've got something red/orange, possibly tomato, possibly orange, possibly rust. Or something.

It's been washed in- will only bleach do the trick now? If so, what will that do to the fabric? How long should I leave it on there? Etc....

You can get Stain Devils for oil, I've used them before and they seem to work ok. :)

felix - give up trying to clean them! Bin time! :D

No!! If she really doesn't want them and they might fit me I'd have them and dye them.
She could try that herself right enough :)

Ok, what about what it will do to the fabric & how long should I leave it on there etc?!!

p.s. I did spray stain remover all over the shirt before washing it but must have missed these spots (the rest came out). :p

Well, I just poured bleach onto the jeans and left them until the stain went and then put them in the washing machine.

I figured that as they were unwearable anyway, I couldn't do any more damage. :D

Try the vanish and if that doesn't work you can buy some stain devil tomorrow. :)

How's that for a plan? :D
