I've got something red/orange, possibly tomato, possibly orange, possibly rust. Or something.

It's been washed in- will only bleach do the trick now? If so, what will that do to the fabric? How long should I leave it on there? Etc....

You can get Stain Devils for oil, I've used them before and they seem to work ok.

p.s. I did spray stain remover all over the shirt before washing it but must have missed these spots (the rest came out).

Well, I just poured bleach onto the jeans and left them until the stain went and then put them in the washing machine.

I figured that as they were unwearable anyway, I couldn't do any more damage.

Try the vanish and if that doesn't work you can buy some stain devil tomorrow.
