Why is YouTube so shit lately?

Recently YouTube has been a pain in the arse. Most videos stutter or slow load and some just do not load at all. I googled the problem and it looks like a few people are having problems but could find no 'official' cause for it.

Anyone else getting problems?

Who is your ISP?

TalkTalk at home but still getting the same issues on public wifi spots which have a good connection to other sites.

I'm on Be and other video sites work much better than youtube.

Well I have been doing a bit more digging and apparently YouTube made some changes to their servers a couple of weeks ago and since then certain users have been having problems. That's hear say on other forums though, nothing official.
