why does Brixton have its own thread?

There's nothing stopping you from starting a Camden Chitter-chatter thread in the London forum, you know. Show a bit of initiative.

i love how spunky people are behind the internet. wow, I say.
so who's the boss? I dislike how forums have their own established hierarchies. Camden should have its equivalent of this. There is more to Camden than shit shops and goths. There is Regent's Park, Mornington Crescent, Frank Auerbach, nice cafes, whatever the hell you want really. I'm all for it. I think Brixton is a bit of a dump really, at least in Camden you don't get this kind of crap (watch it all):

and no really, you don't!

Hop on the Northern Line and I'll tell you the same thing. How's that tree doing?

Go and set up a camden bulletin board yourself :)

 listen mate, you would have had more than a snowball's chance in hell if I hadn't had to edit out a greengrocer's apostrophe from your thread title

There's no hierarchy. The Editor designed the website so it's his. He employs a load of moderators to keep us in check when they're not going out for curries. They don't all live in Brixton.

However, lots of people posting on here live in Brixton and probably discovered this site through searching the internet for something on Brixton.

If you look properly, you'll see there's also forums for Wales, Bristol and even New York. There just isn't one for Camden.

This area of London also has Brockwell Park, Clapham Common and Streatham Common on its doorstep. And we have a lido :p

Frank Auerbach
Yeah, that figures....people in Camden tend to look like Frank Auerbach portraits.

well the council have been making ominous noises for about a year now so it looks like it's on the cards that will shift up to the old family place in belsize park

and yes there will be quite a lack of visible shin in brixton... especially when it snows

What do you mean, ominous noises? Your family have lived there for decades. they're not pulling the street down are they?

I'll really miss your shins, and your cheery face.....
