Why do large bottles of mineral water cost less than small ones?

I've never understood why there are so few around. In some countries on the Continent there's practically one on every corner.

Council budget cutting - They were amongst the first things to go. Used to be much more common.

Fucking annoys me when people moan about limescale in the water, thats how its come out the ground which in the south is mainly chalk, its as natural as you can get, does you no harm and tastes of virtually nothing.

If you come from up north or scotland then yeh it might taste a bit different but its not wrong or bad for you in any way, just different.

We really do need to get a grip and stop being so precious about stuff like this.

In theory I have no problems about drinking tap water or with the minerals it contains, it's what is put into it to purify it (e.g. chlorine tasting stuff) that I can't stand the taste of :(
