Who's in Herne Hill / Tulse Hill / West Dulwich

Just out of curiosity, where is West Dulwich? Isn't it just estate agent speak for Brixton?

Also near(est) Tulse Hill.

It isn't really a new estate agent-driven invention as it takes its name from the station.

It is basically the bit of Dulwich / SE21 which isn't Dulwich Village.

It's even on the maps, although I'd move it up a bit.

Yeah, I would, I'm North of the green road on that map (the a205 / south circular / Thurlow Park Road) and have a West Dulwich postcode.

Rennie: As has been said, proper area, East of Tulse Hill, South of Herne Hill.

I head over that way most days for work - it's less than 10 mins by bike over Brockwell Pk and up Croxted/Rosendale Road. Very leafy over there too! :D

You live near me!

Have you been to the Rosendale pub yet? Its pretty much the only good place for a pint in West Dulwich.

I haven't.. only checked out Railway in Tulse Hill. It's south of Thurlow Park Road innit.. wondered down as far as the Indian restaurant, assume it's after that?

Which says a lot really... I find the Rosendale a bit grim, jangly (awful accoustics), and a clientele that's nowt to write home about. (Present company excepted :o :D )

When are you movong Chris ? Me and Shells should be picking up our new keys this week so we should have a welcome to Herne Hill pub crawl drinks/curry type event where Monkeygrinders and CW can give us the tour they mentioned on the first page !
