We're away so no, but next weekend, aye.
OnK, I thought you were on a ban?
I can't think why. I'd just call it boisterous
Wrong place, wrong time, tbf.
As I said, filed under boisterous in my world
In fact Badgers and I have a better expression for this....
"There was some unpleasantness, I can never go go back"
I can in November 2015.
That sounds familiar, I'm not allowed to break the law until the 19th of Nov 2014
Not long to go now!
Crap performance, decent result.
Here we all are. There were a few more than this btw, taken just before kick off and loads ended up standing on the slope above the terrace in the corner
That's my flag you can see in the middle btw
Is it a new one? Got a close up?
Yes. No. No camera atm
Blue and white
Take Me Home
I now understand why you were reluctant to disclose it's content.
Not your hometown is it
Thankfully not. You've got family from Swindon, though, so you can take some comfort from that.
Dorchester away tomorrow, first time in nearly a century that we've had to play a qualifying round tie. We're up for the Cup in numbers
Never been there before. Charlie Windsor helped design their ground. It has loads of terracing
Just googled it. Looks great. Have a good One.
Ta. Can get the train direct from my local suburban station here and with 2500 tickets available to us and pay on the day, I'm expecting a large contingent of misfits, pisspots and daytrippers to be making the trip down with me
I was going to ask how many tickets they'd given you.
If they get 1630 home fans or more they'll have a new attendance record.
Not sure we'll take all 2500 but we'll give it a good go. We've never played Dorchester before, some people will be having a weekend in Weymouth and when we want to have a big away day all sorts come out of the woodwork. Hopefully the locals will be up for it as well, they've got the biggest tie they could have hoped for at this stage, short of drawing Weymouth (who are at home to Braintree).
c*ty are away today, could make Temple Meads interesting
Yeah, we have a similar thing. Barnet away at their old ground on a Wednesday night a few years ago springs to mind. We took loads, they had to open the triangular overflow terrace behind the goal. We had the end and the side and outnumbered the home supporters.
We lost, obviously.
That's reminded me of Barnet away in the fourth round of the Cup in 2008, same day as Havant & Waterlooville gave Liverpool a scare at Anfield. Classic case of Cup fever, it didn't matter that it was 'only' Barnet (or 'only' Rovers), it was a great chance for either side to make the last 16. We had the end and the side, think we outnumbered them (though they had plenty by their standards). We edged a 1-0 with a penalty, beat Saints at home in the next round and went out to West Brom in the quarter final. Epic days
As football days out go, that was excellent
Managed to get the whole way down to Dorchester and back without buying a ticket, we won 7-1 and I had an excellent chippy tea of battered mushrooms, chips, bap, pickled egg and a coke for under a fiver.
Take the flag? Get a picture?
The flag went, other people were taking pics of it. I was watching the football, I'm not a tourist
